SmartSend

You pick the person. SmartSend writes an email about what just happened at their company, sends it from your own inbox, and lines up the follow-ups, so you reach them while the moment is fresh.

What SmartSend does

Knowing first only pays off if you act first. SmartSend turns a contact into a short, relevant email sequence in one click. It reads the person's role and everything Fundz knows about their company right now (a raise, a new leader, a launch, a contract, an expansion), works out what they are likely dealing with this week, and drafts up to three emails that lead with their challenge and how you help.

The first email goes out from your own Gmail or Outlook, in your voice, the moment you approve it. The follow-up and the short final note are threaded onto the same conversation. You choose every contact; SmartSend never finds people or emails anyone on its own.

When to use it

Something just happened

A company you care about raised money, hired a leader, launched a product, signed a contract or opened an office. Reach the right person while it is news.

Working your leads

The SmartSend button sits next to the named person on your Daily Leads, your Daily Briefing cards, Today and every contact on a company profile.

You want a reply, not volume

Each email is about what the person is actually facing, so it reads like a note from a human, not a template.

How to send one

  1. 1
Find the person: on a daily lead, a brief card, Today, or a company profile's contacts. Click SmartSend.
  2. 2
First time only: connect Gmail or Outlook right in the window. It is a secure sign-in with Google or Microsoft; Fundz never sees your password and you can disconnect any time.
  3. 3
Review the three tabs, Sends now, Follow-up and Breakup. Edit any word, check your signature and add your meeting link.
  4. 4
Send. The first email goes out immediately from your inbox and lands in your Sent folder. The follow-ups are scheduled on the same thread.
Follow-ups and replies

Outlook: a reply stops the remaining emails automatically. Gmail: Google does not let Fundz read your replies, so no Gmail follow-up goes out without your OK. On its day (and the day before), Today and your morning email show it with Send it, They replied and Don't send. Moving the company to Replied in My targets stops it too.

See and manage everything in flight

Open SmartSend in the left menu to see every sequence you have running. Edit an email that has not gone out yet, remove one step, or stop a sequence entirely. On a contact card, a running sequence shows Scheduled with a Stop button.

Sends, replies and meetings also move the company forward in your pipeline on their own. See SmartSend and your targets.

Written from real events, honest by design

The email is built from what is really happening at the company, not a name dropped into a template. When there is a real date to point to, such as a lending agreement coming due, a benefit plan renewal window, or new funding turning into hiring, SmartSend leads with it. Those dates come from the same data behind Lender Intelligence and Benefit Plans in Play.

It describes your offer exactly as you wrote it and never invents claims.

Write your offer once

SmartSend learns what you do from Your Business Profile in Account, Targeting. Keep it accurate there and every email reflects it.

Add LinkedIn

SmartSend can also reach the same person on LinkedIn, or on email and LinkedIn together. On any contact with a LinkedIn profile, pick the LinkedIn option when you start. It sends from your own LinkedIn account: a personal connection request, then a short follow-up and a polite final note if they do not reply. Fundz drafts every step from what just happened; you review and edit before anything goes.

Sent together, email and LinkedIn run as one sequence: a reply on either channel stops both, so nobody hears from you twice.

Connect LinkedIn once

LinkedIn messages go out through a HeyReach connection you set up once in Account, Integrations, LinkedIn (HeyReach). See Add LinkedIn to SmartSend (HeyReach). Fundz never posts from a shared account and never sees your LinkedIn password. The LinkedIn option needs the contact's LinkedIn profile and their first and last name.

You approve every word

The connection note (up to about 290 characters) and each follow-up are fully editable, or leave them blank and Fundz drafts them.

Built for restraint

Daily and per-contact limits keep it a well-timed personal touch, never a volume tool.

The three emails

Sends now

The opening email, sent the moment you confirm. It leads with the person's likely challenge given what just happened, then how you help with exactly that.

Follow-up

A second email on the same thread from a fresh angle, a few days later.

Breakup

A short, gracious last note that closes the loop without pitching again.

Each tab shows your live signature and meeting link, so the email you approve is exactly the email that goes out.

Option: lead with a market gift

On a first email or LinkedIn message you can switch on Lead with a market gift. Instead of opening with a pitch, the first message opens with a useful heads-up about the person's market, such as a peer's raise or fresh activity in their region, drawn from live Fundz data. When there is not a strong enough item to make the gift worth reading, it falls back to the normal note.

Where you will find it

The toggle appears in the SmartSend email window, the SmartSend LinkedIn message and the Engage decision-maker opener.
