Ask Fundz (Command Bar)

One bar at the top of your dashboard. Type what you want in plain words and Fundz does it: builds the list, opens the page, sets the alert or explains why a company matters.

What it is

Instead of hunting through menus, you say what you are after. “Seed-funded companies in my territory this month.” “Open my targets.” “Why is this company a top lead?” Ask Fundz answers from your own account (your targeting, your leads, your targets and watchlist) and the underlying funding, leadership, hiring and acquisition data, and it takes you to the result.

Typing and talking are two doors into the same assistant. Press the mic in the bar and you can do all of it out loud. Talk to Fundz

How to use it

  1. 1
    Open your dashboard. The Ask Fundz bar is at the top. Its grey hint text rotates through requests people in your role often make.
  2. 2
    Type a request and press Enter (or the arrow button). Or press the mic to say it.
  3. 3
    A window titled Ask Fundz opens with the answer, and the page moves to show you the result.
  4. 4
    Keep going in the same window to refine: “just Series A”, “open the second one”.

“Find recent Series A rounds in my space.” “Show me companies hiring engineers in robotics.”

Work your leads

“Show me my best leads right now.” “Why does this company matter to me?”

Manage your targets

“Add Acme to my targets.” “Move Acme to Meeting.” Managing targets with Ask Fundz

Set up alerts

“Set up funding and new-leader alerts.” It asks one question at a time and sets them for you.

Export or sync

“Export this list.” “Push this company to HubSpot.”

Review your setup

“Show me everything I have set up.” It reads back what you sell, the industries and locations you target, your saved searches and your outreach style.

Quick-start buttons

Under the bar is a row of Quick start buttons for the most common jobs. Each one opens the assistant with the job already started, so you never have to think of the wording.
