SmartSend and your targets
SmartSend and My targets are connected. Every SmartSend you send updates your pipeline, so it keeps up with your outreach without you editing anything.
What happens when you send
- 1You send a SmartSend. If the company isn't in your targets yet, it's added. It moves to Contacted, and the send appears in its timeline.
- 2They reply. On Outlook, Fundz sees the reply: the company moves to Replied, the rest of the follow-ups stop, and the reply shows at the top of your Today panel. On Gmail, Fundz can only send, not read, so each follow-up waits for your OK on Today; when someone answers, click They replied and Fundz stops the follow-ups and moves the company to Replied.
- 3You book a meeting. Click Meeting booked on the reply row in Today, or change the stage in My targets, and the company moves to Meeting.
These automatic changes only move a company forward. They never move it back, and never change a company you've marked Won or Lost.
Where to start a SmartSend
From any row on your Today panel, from a company's panel in My targets, or from a contact on any company page. The draft uses that company's news and the person's role, and you can edit every word before it goes.
SmartSend needs a contact with an email. If a target has no one named, use Suggest a person to contact on Today, or pick from the suggested people in the company's panel.
Before your first send
Connect your Gmail or Office 365 inbox once. SmartSend sends from your own address, so messages sit in your Sent folder and replies come straight to you. Outlook: a reply stops the follow-ups automatically. Gmail: each follow-up waits for your OK. If you haven't connected yet, SmartSend asks you to when you try to send. For the full guide, see SmartSend.
SmartSend is included on Pro and Strategic. My targets comes with every Fundz account.
