Company profile, contacts and market gift
Everything Fundz knows about one company, in one call: the company record plus its recent funding, acquisitions, leadership hires, contracts, product launches, office expansions and trademark filings. Two companion calls give you the people to contact there and a ready-made opener about what is moving in their market.
Use it to fill in a CRM record, brief a rep before a call, or give an AI agent the context it needs to write a message that lands.
Quick start
Pass a company slug (the organization.id on any feed record) or its numeric Fundz id:
curl -H "Authorization: YOUR_API_KEY" \
"https://api.fundz.net/companies/northwind-robotics"Endpoints
https://api.fundz.net/companies/{id}https://api.fundz.net/companies/{id}/contactshttps://api.fundz.net/companies/{id}/market_giftSend your API key in the Authorization header. Keys come from Account > API Keys in the app, on a Pro or Strategic plan. Each of these three calls counts once against your daily allowance. See Authentication and limits for the daily call allowance and error formats.
The id path parameter
Either the company slug (for example northwind-robotics, returned as organization.id on every feed) or the numeric Fundz id (returned by daily leads and by the contacts call). When Fundz holds duplicate records for a company, both resolve to the same main record. An unknown id returns 404 with "message": "Company not found".

}The company fields match the enriched company record described on Data models. On top of them:
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| signals | object | Recent events grouped by type. Each list holds up to the 10 most recent. If one type cannot be loaded it comes back as an empty list rather than failing the whole call. |
| counts | object | How many items each list in signals holds (at most 10 each). |
| last_signal_at | string | null | Timestamp of the most recent item across all lists. |
| meta.tier | string | Your plan. |
| meta.alt_data | string | included when office expansions and trademarks are part of the response, which they are on every paid plan. |
What each signal list contains
| List | Fields |
|---|---|
| fundings | id, stage, amount (display text), amount_usd, date, source_url, investors (names), use_of_proceeds (see Fundings) |
| acquisitions | id, role (acquirer or acquiree), acquirer, acquired, amount, date |
| executives | id, name, title, action (always hired), date |
| agreements | id, title, kind, date |
| product_launches | id, title, date |
| sec_filings | id, form_type, filed_at, url, summary |
| expansions | Commercial building and lease permits matched to the company, a sign it is adding or fitting out space: city, address, permit_type, status, cost_usd, filed_at, owner |
| trademarks | US trademark filings, a sign of a new product or brand: mark, filing_date, status (pending, registered or dead), classes |
For a longer history of one type, use its feed with organization_name, for example /fundings.
GET /companies/{id}/contacts
The people Fundz holds at the company, so you can go from "this company just raised" to "this is who to email" in two calls. People with an email address come first, then by department and last name.

GET /companies/{id}/market_gift
Most outreach opens with the recipient's own news, which they already know. A market gift opens with something useful they may not know: what is moving among the companies around them, such as "12 companies have appointed a new CFO in the last 90 days, including ...". It is the same opener SmartSend uses.
| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| lookback_days | integer | How far back to look, from 14 to 365 days. Default 90. |
curl -H "Authorization: YOUR_API_KEY" \
"https://api.fundz.net/companies/northwind-robotics/market_gift?lookback_days=90"| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| strong | boolean | Whether there was enough relevant movement to lead with. When false, write a normal opener instead of forcing a weak one. |
| text | string | The gift written out, ready to adapt into a first line. |
| facts | array | The individual facts behind the text, as sentences. |
| fact_count | integer | Number of facts. |
| tier | string | null | Which kind of gift was found: buyer_motion (people who buy from you changed seats), named_peer, adjacency_aggregate, geo, category_floor, or null when none. |
| buyer_companies | array | For buyer_motion gifts, every company behind the count: { company, date, role, org_id }. Use it to build the list the gift describes. |
| fingerprint | array | Keywords Fundz used to define the company's market. |
| lookback_days | integer | The window actually used. |
| reason | string | null | Why nothing was found, when that happens. |
| company | object | { id, name, url } for the company you asked about. |
This call does real analysis each time, so it can take several seconds. If it cannot be assembled it returns 503 with "type": "GiftUnavailable"; try again later.
